6 yrs and still struggling
So it's been a little over six years since I lost my husband. He was only 48 and died suddenly. I've kept a stiff upper lip, got my ducks in a row, and I have been strong. I still grieve, albeit not as intensely as the earlier years. I have been in a roller coaster relationship for almost 5 years. We both love each other very much, but we both have a lot of baggage. He's 11 years younger than me and has a 10 year old daughter. His ex is a witch with a B and has totally ruined his life. She has done so many illegal things regarding custody and visitation, even taking their daughter out of the country with an illegally obtained passport (nobody is willing to step up and stop her). My guy is disabled and this battle has ruined most of his life. I love him, but I don't think he will be able to drop the mic and stop fighting this battle. I totally understand why he is fighting ...it's his only daughter and he loves her. With the ongoing battle and whatever the future holds, I don't think I will ever be number one. I am struggling. I love him and I understand his love for his daughter, but I am lonely as this battle goes on. Is this worth me staying with him or what? I think I know the answer, but I need to be heard.
