6 month wait

Finally got word from govt housing 15 miles away----21 people ahead of me, and about a 6 month wait.
Everything considered, this might be the best I can do.  Last night I accidently came across # bad articles of a town 8 miles away, with usual heroin arrests, but also an armed break-in, and robbing somebody of their I-phone/whatever.  At least this govt building is typical highrise door to be buzzed in.  Hopefully, the application will come in the mail tomorrow.
While on the phone about this, the cat woman knocked---with the neutered cat.  Cat got flea shot, rabies, distemper, feline leukemia check-up, with his ear trimmed so that everybody knows he's been neutered...so at least my money was well spent.  The cat volunteer took him away, cause he's still all drugged, with her not knowing what to do with him, after I told her my story about the neighbors giving me trouble.  I even gave her two bags of cat litter and some food.
Those two hassles went off well; it's the landlord for real ordeal for me?

Good that the cat got the help he needed! Do you still have one kitty living with you?

Hopefully the six months will pass quickly and you can have a better life.

At least now you have something to look forward to. I hope you get in even sooner. Good that you got on it. It is too easy to get stuck in a rut. Moving can be a lot of work. I hope a new place really works out for you. Can you have pets there?

thanks, TroJanThunder.

The newly neutered cat must be eating good enough; he showed up today, and left behind some leftovers from a full can I gave him.

Thanks, too, KellyPaterson.

I sent off paperwork on Tuesday re hoped-for apt; will be $300 deposit for my cat to live with me, but not as though I have any major bills right now.

That\'s good Mike. I would hate to think you could not have a furbaby!
