6 inspiring rules of life//cold out 60 degrees and raining//doing nothing. lol.
"1. No one is in charge of your happiness, except you.
2. What others think of you, is none of your business.
3. Make peace with your past, so it won't screw up your present. (that means coming to terms with it, it DOESN'T mean keeping toxic people in your life. be brave enough to keep the toxic people OUT of your life no matter what!)
4. Don't compare your life to others, you have no idea what their journey is all about.
5. Time heals everything.
6. You are only going to be as good as the people you surround yourself with,so be BRAVE enough to let go of those who keep weighing you down."
tried to post a photo of a doghouse "hutch" that someone is using for their outdoor cats to keep warm. its beautiful. but it wouldn't post.
doing nothing at the moment. eating vegetable/lentil soup by amy's which is excellent. its actually cold out again. 65 during the day and 60 right now! rained most of the day. sipping coffee to ward off migraine from the weather, and finally took two advil. having those brain surges again. i think lopressor only works ten hours for me. scary. makes me feel like i'm dying soon. then i take a pill and i'm okay.
tm was here for a little while. he is also "sick," he needs blood pressure meds for MONTHS now, and instead he just puts it off and says he is foggy headed and afraid he'll die this decade because he just turned 50 (he's 19 years older than ap. wth?) both of his parents died in their 50's and he is super nervous about this and keeps saying he's not feeling well. he needs to go on meds, but doesn't listen. if something does happen, its very sad because blood pressure is easily fixable with medication.
i have the heat on 79. lol. back to that. can't believe it. yesterday the a/c was on. fed br's colony and the tiger cat is still missing! went shopping for animal supplies and stopped for a taste tester, tilapia today. yum! got it done just before the rain started.
looking for two foreign movies for something different, manon of the spring and jean de florette on dvd, i used to love those. you have to watch them quietly and repeatedly to really get them as they are french and you watch the subtitles, but they were excellent. i didn't learn how to do that until like ten years ago. lol.
headed to the marina BRIEFLY with a. i know its going to be cold out there. brrrr. lol.

888-382-1222 block cell phone number from telemarketers for five years. the cell phone numbers will go public this year. how do we make our numbers unpublished! omg!
Can\'t believe, well yea i guess i can, that they will let cell numbers go published. Something will be done but how long will it take?
Thanks for reminder on how not to be! xxxooo
and how to be!
Good reminders up there 38. It\'s all true!
I\'m not surprised that you\'re cold down there. The weather is nutz. It\'s cold up here in Jersey too. Plus we\'ve had rain for five days, so that gets depressing.
So sorry that cat is still missing. I know that\'s upsetting to everyone!
Blood pressure is so easily maintained, if we check it regularly and take meds. I\'m sorry tm has this bad family history...but he needs to take meds and keep his blood pressure under control!! Some people just want to ignore the things that frighten them, so they avoid doctors altogether. NOT ME! First sign of a new onset of symptoms, I call my D.O. I don\'t want any additional things wrong with me than what I already have to deal with. I believe in preventive medicine. Just go to the doctor once a year, get good bloodwork done, eat a healthy diet, walk.....and laugh a lot!! Mucho important to our mental status.
Enjoy your movies. Great idea!!!
Lovely journal, thanks 38, sounds like you having some nice summer weather and enjoying your sunshine. Please could you send some my way. hugs x
Hi, I don\'t mean to alarm you but the reason my husband had his stroke at age 61 was due to high blood pressure. I think your friend, tm, needs to rethink things and get on BP meds. asap ! Tell him about my husband if you need to.
It\'s cold here in North Carolina too........where did Spring go ? LOL
Hugs, Patricia :-)
i know, i usually LOVE spring in north florida. not this year though. weird weather and LOTS OF POLLEN is what we have this year. what is it with the rain? seriously. don\'t remember going through this before, though climate has become variable because of el nino they claim for about 20 years now.
i have told tm LOTS of times. his latest is he\'ll get it checked and then wants to go on whatever his brother is on. he really doesn\'t make sense and all you can do with people is tell them.
you can lead a horse to water, like with the article on aspartame, but you can\'t make them drink. people will receive it and not read it. or receive it and decide its not true and continue as is. to me, water and anything ANCIENT, is the safe way to go. anything chemical usually ends up being toxic.
xxoo
Weather has been crazy down here too. First AC then cool then back and forth.
Don;t remember weather like this.
lol. I didn\'t want to read about the Aspartame thing. Just didn\'t want it in my mind.
Weather here is crazy as well. The a/c is going strong right now but I hope to remember to put it on heat before I go to bed. It\'s suppose to be in the 40\'s in the morning.??? Weird.
I alway\'s think I don\'t want to watch anything with sub-titles but once I start watching I can\'t stop. The only thing bad about it is you can\'t do anything in the kitchen because you can\'t read them. :-)
I have blocked my home phone and cell from telemarketer\'s for year\'s. And it does not work. Somehow they alway\'s find a way to get around it, and I am sick of it.
Have a great week and stay warm!
Good advice in the beginning there! Sorry your friend is becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. It\'s so frustrating when you are on the outside and can only watch. Catching up *HUGS*
that\'s what i think too, maybe its not just that its genetic physically, but the attitude is. tm\'s parents probably refused to go on blood pressure meds as well, if you don\'t use medication, OF COURSE you are going to have a stroke or heart attack. today is 5/26, i really need to find a way to read this stuff sooner.
