TGIF
My interview yesterday went well, although I didn't feel I expressed my full potential, I was nervous. My stomach was in knots so I couldn't really eat before I left. After the interview I stopped for a carnitas taco and a few chips. I had Chinese takeout for dinner (no rice, no chowmein - steamed veggies, pork and chicken). But later I had a grilled cheese sandwich and the outside of 4 oreo cookies. NOW... the difference is this, I felt okay eating it. There was no guilt, no self-loathing. I accepted that I was going to eat this and then jump back on to my eating plan today. I know the cravings were stress and emotional and not the normal pattern for me any longer. I don't want to be that girl. Today my outlook is strong, eating plan in place, and very positive. I'm still looking forward (yep, I said it) to stepping on the scale tomorrow and seeing the results of the week (and it's been a tough one).
