OK, my dear dear peeps, do you want the good news or the bad news first?????Let's do start with the good news, shall we? Feel free when I finish with the "bad" news to let me know that I am either a total psycho or just demanding my fair medical treatment for my dollars. I promise not to be offended at either opinion!
LOL
Being the bull dog Irish gal I am, and proud of it, I fought and got a PRO BONO LAWYER to assist with the deed mess that my hubby got me involved in. Remember? Yeah, cause as hubby said "I am smart." SHEEZ!
ANYWAYS............Brief re-cap, did the deed search for the guy, it was valid/legal but a relative is fighting him saying it isn't because of a note written on a scrap of paper not notorized, documented, etc. SOOOOOOO, I contacted the MAIN MAN over the entire State of Lawyers
and was assured there were PRO BONO lawyers that I just needed to be persistant. OK, not a problem. So I called the local agency who shoved me off. WRONG THING TO DO.
Got on the net and found the appropriate agencies and FAXED all applicable regarding the case.
Got a call the next morning and was told AGAIN they don't do this type of case. I assured them they do, so I got bumped up to the Regional Director over that office. Got nowhere so I WENT TO THE STATE HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT. Got shoved back to Moronville for round 3.
I finally stated that I would call the State Dept Head again and was assured that she would be told there were no lawyers available. OK, no, I don't quit that easy as there is 99 times out of 100 a back door if you refuse to quit. THAT'S ME! So, being me, I said, "OK, let's go at this ass backwards, shall we? You have no lawyer so what if I find a lawyer willing to do PRO BONO can I get him/her on your list for this case?" The top dog assured me yes, just to have them call in. I am sure at this point she would have given her left boob to just be rid of me. ROFLOL ROFLOL ROFLOL
So I called and found a lawyer, explained the situation and TA-DA, by the grace of God working through my persistance, a PRO BONO (free) lawyer has been obtained! YIPPPPEEEE!
NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS AND THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN STATE YOUR OPINION OF PSHYCO OR DETERMINED TO GET FAIR MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR MY DOLLAR!
Got my report on my 2007 MRI from hospital and the moron radiologist read it as normal, nothing wrong, etc. This is also what I was told in 2003. I went off as I have had a chiropractor show me on my old MRI (2003) where I had cervical nerve compression & misalignment, a neurologist who also dxd degenerative disk disease, and a workers' compensation dr who dxd cervical nerve root irritation that would continue to get worse. All this was in 2003!!!!
FAST FORWARD TO 2007 MRI which I eye balled and could see 3 verts now instead of just 1 pressing into the cervical nerve and no spaces but the verts look like a cedar shingle roof!
I phoned the hospital and filed an official complaint and requested another reading of my MRI and stated the above reasons. I stated that altho there was nothing the size of an orange to glare at that still there was a misreading. Further, I actually had the ding-a-ling on the phone say, "What difference does this make if your workers' comp claim is closed?" I had to breathe deeply to explain to her that "IF THE REPORT SAYS MY NECK IS FINE THAT THE DOCTOR WILL NOT GIVE ME PROPER MEDICAL TREATMENT OR CONSIDER SURGERY BECAUSE THE REPORT SAYS I AM F-I-N-E!"
Top man is now involved have another review of my MRI and assured me that he would then have a 3rd reading done specifically looking for the nerve compression, etc. I explained to him that I am unable to move my neck and that the Dr is considering surgery and will not look at my neck at the issue with a wrong report. I am awaiting the results of this situation.
So.....my darling peeps.....is this the good Lord's way of keeping my fighting spirit alive as He knows it keeps my blood pumping and gives me reason to get out of bed or am I truly being just toooooo much????? Your opinion will be appreciated. I just feel like everywhere I turn as of late I have a battle on my hands. True, by God's grace, wisdom, and leading, I've come through and won.
Lastly, I did sign up for the ministerial counseling course and am awaiting my materials. Maybe that's why I am getting the "fights" of this world? To prepare me to deal with the tough issues that will face me in counseling? God always prepares one for the job He gives.
Love & hugs to all. Pain is so-so.

I think you had a very good darned reason to insist you get the medical treatment you deserve! Any time it should be insisted upon, but especially when a surgery this invasive is thought of.
GOOD. FOR YOU.
It\'s the old story of the squeaking hinge getting the oil. So expect a slippery shower!!!
Good for you for demanding the MRI be reread!!! Sometimes you have to wonder if chimps couldn\'t do the job just as well as some of these MDieties.
Sorry for being so dull. Think I\'m back to being very anemic and am totally zoned out. Could get spayed, but am not ready for that yet so I\'ll keep taking my iron and hope I perk up.
Thanks gang. Sometimes you wonder if you are just swatting at flies and wasting energy, if you\'ve lost it and just snapped or if you are just acting rational as you are treated like a nut case because there is no one easy cure all answer.
HUGS & LOVE TO EACH OF YOU.
Like maybe you sometimes over-identify with Don Quixote? lol No, I think you are right on. I have similar isssues with my neck by the way. The three cervical disks look like stairsteps overlapping each other. At times I have used an over-the door traction device, and PT, which helped. There are times when I can\'t move my head at all. But I must say, since I have been on the meds for Fibromyalgia, specifically, Neurontin, I have had practically no neck pain. I still only have about 30 degrees of rotation, but much less pain. A surgeon I consulted with in Australia advised me strongly NOT to have surgery; why I don\'t know. But for some reason, the neurontin has taken care of the pain, so I\'m glad I didn\'t. Hugs, Joan
DEAR JOAN, you the same Joan via Liane? ANYHOOOOO, am now back with my OLD dr who is wonderful and admits that I am at the \"guinea pig\" stage as all other treatments failed. HOWEVER, praise God she is determined as I am to try things that may seem irrational as long as it is medically appropriate and not illegal. She\'s trying me on STRATERA for the chronic fatigue. Will return to her in 2 wks. Will be call the HOSPITAL (use that term loosely! ROFLOL) to see the determination on my MRI for 2007 vs 2003. If I must, I will dig out my old 2003 med reports from 3 drs and send them that if nothing else to prove their radiology dept SUCKS. They better agree this time around or heads will roll....not mine as I have limited motion. ROFLOL
