I will apologize RIGHT NOW for the following ranting fit I am going to take but I must take it or EXPLODE! Knowing this, you have been forwarned.

OK, someone, anyone, please I beg you, tell me where the STOOOPIDITY stops! If I hear one more time "You're an interesting case." "There's nothing I can do for you." etc. I may yank the so-called medical professional in my pathway B-A-L-D!!!!!
Went to see the new Dr. and was told she didn't have a clue what to try. Looked thru file which is larger than GONE WITH THE WIND and she said "they've never ran an ANA, RH, OR SED RATE TO CHECK FOR AUTO-IMMUNE OR ARTHRITIS." So off I trot to the blood suckers for the gumpteenth time. Now, look peeps, I know my SED rate has been checked more than my freakin' credit rating and it is always "normal". OOOO I hate that word...."normal". ANYWAY, she wants to see me in a week and her only possible solution to my being an "INTERESTING CASE" was to see if the upper dr over her would agree with PROVIGIL which will not give me energy to combat my chronic fatigue but will make me feel like staying awake. Honey, I am already awake otherwise it would be called asleep or DEAD! 
I need energy not toothpicks for the eyelids!
I've decided that I will find out the blood test results and if normal I will not return. She stated that I know my body better than anyone and I may just have to figure it out on my own. ARGH! ARGH! ARGH! ARGH! Well thank you medical diva. I mean, she was nice, she did listen, but basically all I got was a shrug of the shoulders and said I might see a specialist.
I TOLD HER the "specialist" had already seen me and stated I was the worst case of FM he'd ever seen and that he couldn't help me therefore, there was no reason to come back to him and waste my money. Same lovely expression from the Physical Therapy dude.
You may now put your seats into an upright position and prepare for landing. The ranting has ceased and "normal" conditions are in place. I hope that you have enjoyed your trip into the insanity that is my life and please feel free to join me on another yet exciting trip into the MEDICAL WORLD OF STOOOOPIDITY.

I wish I could say I\'m beyond shocked a doctor would be so dumbfounded, but I\'m not. Most of them are beyond clueless unless it comes to transplanting a heart, then they know what to do. Otherwise forget it. At least she was nice. That\'s something anyway. I agree about not going back unless they find something. You end up living your life to please the doctor, not yourself.
I am so sick of them shaking their heads at me and telling me I am the worst case they\'ve ever seen! I don\'t care about that, do something for me!!! I\'m doing my job, i\'m eating the right things, I don\'t get much exercise, who wants to when you feel like crud all the time! This puppy is waking me up at 3am to PLAY! he is now sleeping on my lap! I\'m sorry you didnt get any answers but I really don\'t think they have any answers for any of us, this is no way to live but what choice do we have. hugs, adelle

And yes, by golly do it in the loudest colored outfit I own. HOWEVER, I can see it now, they rush the Counselor out to talk to me and calm me down as I am suffering ANXIETY, etc and have finally went over the edge or up the wall. Whatever med term they choose. ON THE PLUS SIDE, maybe just maybe I\'d get hauled off to the local pen and get good state medical care! ROFLOL
I have gone all the way to University of Michigan hospital and have gotten the same response. I just believe they really don\'t know, nothing is in the medical journals to guide them sooo...they act like it is our fault that we are sick!

OK, got blood results, without seeing the doctor, will CANCEL the appointment and am going back to my OLD DR WHO HAS SOME BACK BONE AND BALLS AND WILLING to really try different options instead of saying \"You\'re an interesting case.\" TA-DA!
