HOWDY! Daughter had emergency (is there any other kind??) appendectomy on 9-11 no less! SHEEZ. She's out of the hospital and doing ok. On the mend.Grandson is adorable and smiles as he recognizes GRAMMIE's voice. OOOOOO, I could just squeeze him soooooo tight!Lyrica dang near killed me with side effects.....throat swelling, couldn't breathe. Dr. wondered if it were really an allergic reaction. SHEEZ! Beam me up Scottie, there's no intelligent life here! ROFLOL However, I should play the Lottery as those particular allergic reactions (rare & unusual) happen in only 2% of people. YEAH ME! ROFLOL Oddly the lady in the bed next to my daughter was there due to an allergic reaction to the LYRICA as well. She lost ability to move and went into convulsions and her moron dr said the same thing...."I don't think those were "real" convulsions". HUH????? Is there another kind? ROFLOL Hugs & love to all. Try to survive the INTELLIGENT MED PROS out there. I may have to get in med school myself just so people don't end up with allergic reactions and morons to treat them! SHEEZ!Love & hugs again!

Unreal!!! Yep, people fake allergic reactions and convulsions just so they can be admitted to the hospital and incur massive medical bills that will take the rest of the year to pay off. And all this just so they can be noticed. Course a few brave souls might be trying to jump-start their acting career, but who knows?? What better place to try out your fake seizures than a hospital???
It does sound like their isn\'t much intelligent life in the WV medical community. Course my former MDiety admitted he\'s not God so that doesn\'t bode terribly well for the state of Washington either.
That\'s roo bad about the Lyrica..it really helps me when all else fails. I just don\'t take it on regular basis. although it has been pretty regular since I got off the prednisone.
Appendicitis is scary and painful , glad your daughter is on the mend.
Love,
Nan
Good Lord! What do some of these docs do if they have a problem??? Idiots!! Hope you get some relief soon!
OK, F-I-N-A-L-L-Y feeling better. I decided I was \"tired of faking\" my allergic reaction as I was not getting admitted for a lovely all expense paid \"vacation\" at the hospital and as the daughter was there, I certainly didn\'t want to take the chance of having the bed NEXT TO HER! OIY VEY! ROFLOL
I and the Dr have decided that all that is left is to try PT and I agreed. Further, since there\'s no cure, she will treat the flares and give me FLEXRIL & PREDNISONE as needed for that.
Dang, now what shall I do for ATTENTION since the \"fake allergic\" reaction didn\'t work? ROFLOL
Love & hugs to all.
