HI MY PEEPS! Well, began "new miracle" drug last nite. ROFLOL I was so drunk this AM I almost missed church! Yes, I drove myself once I had a pot of espresso and a cup of regular coffee. By that point, I was "sober". However, the other side effect is staggering so it was quite funny when the minister said everyone stand, I did, then fell straight back into my pew! ROFLOL Yep, wonder why everyone at church let me leave the parking lot first? ROFLOL ROFLOL ROFLOL Also when I close my eyes, I see lovely sparkles. ROFLOL Yep, this isn't a narcotic (LYRICA) but man, the druggies would kill for my trip this AM. LOL
OK, so, I'm supposed to take this med 3x per day. NOT GONNA! I mean I am going to try it but just 1x at bedtime and try to work my way up. I can't afford this junk first of all even if it does work, but I definately want to get by with as little as possible.
HAVE BEEN TAKING CO-Q10 for FIBRO FOG AND IT WORKS! YES, IT WORKS! So, if that is really bad as it has been for me (was severly severly severly depressed over losing my mind
) I suggest giving it a try.
OK, will let all of you know if I am still scaring the hell out of the new Dr since giving her the book on FM. Hopefully, she will now understand FM and that I am not suffering "anxiety, depression, etc." I know what I got and what I dont. I could probably CLEP an exam on Pharmacology and Medical Dr to boot! LOL
I hope you are doing ok as ok can be in our terms. lol Here's been crazy. Daughter, had to file a JP to keep us legally safe, then some wonderful virus hit, Dr. won't listen to me so I am trying a 4th "new miracle" drug (uh-huh), well you get the idea..... LOL
I keep thinking that when the Dr disabled me in 12/05 that I'd be doing my beloved art work all the time. I've yet to do diddle squat really. Wonder how come? It's like my life is crazier now than before and BUSIER! I think too, I just don't feel well so the "HAVE TO STUFF" takes longer and that's why there is no energy or time for art. I suppose to do artwork, I just need to chuck it all one or two days a week and let the mess fall where it will.

Lyrica threw me for a loop and gave me that drunk feeling at first , I had my doctor cut my dosage back to lower dose..it starts as low as 25 mgs. 50 seemed to be my magic number, no more dizzyness. You gotta admit it does kill the pain though!

OK, NAN - OFF the Lyrica. Started developing sinuitis, headache and real difficulty breathing after just 3 days at 1 x per. Was in the hospital (daughter had to have an emergency appendectomy! SHEEZ!) and the woman in the bed next to her was in the hospital was in for an allergic reaction to the LYRICA where she had lost ability to move and began having convulsions. I QUIT RIGHT THERE! Called pharmacy to make sure my symptoms were side effects and was told yes (Rare & Unusual 2%) so I thought I best not push the elephant sitting on my chest feeling.
ROFLOL Symptoms are subsiding, daughter out of hospital, life is back to normal insane. ROFLOL Love & Hugs.
