Me, plugging along on the 24 ft x 6 ft VBS thing. Thought breaking it down into 8 ft x 6 ft would make it easier.....W-R-O-N-G! ROFLOL Like 8 ft x 6 ft IS BIG....PERIOD!
You should have seen me wallowing around in the living room floor trying to piece the 8 ft sections together to make the 2 ft sections = 6 ft. OH BOY! I tell you, I had the Twister game beat all to pieces. ROFLOL
Kids caught me and thought I'd lost my mind wrestling with masking tape and skads of paper. Oh well, I did tape it into submission and now I will begin the drawing. I may ask for help on the painting it just depends how far I get. My problem is I want artwork suitable for an exhibit and they just want a VBS backdrop. Ah, artists! ROFLOL
OK, well, must run. Take care, hurting from being "bad" but I am enjoying the process of painting and creating. So I will just take extra pills, right? ROFLOL That always works....NOT! ROFLOL

Glad you\'re alive and well. Anyone that takes on VBS has my admiration. I wouldn\'t have a clue what to do. You\'re very blessed to be an artist. I have the distinction of not being able to cut a straight line with a straight edge!!! LOL. Try beating that. It\'s taken years of hard work and long hours to perfect my lack of artistic ability--and it shows!!! blessings. jean

OK - Now JEAN, I am quite sure you have some artistic ability as the fact that you can write your own name gives way to your inner most personality. Yes, I analyze handwriting and it really wigs people out when you tell them things. ROFLOL One of my bosses kept thinking I had spoke to his wife and I assured him it was all in his signature. So after that, every customer that came in he had me freak them out by analyzing their writing. ROFLOL I told him to quit that as in this hell hole area I be called a \"witch\" and have a fire burning in my front yard!
Now KIM, I honestly was in such position that the Kama Sutra would have been shocked. Ooops, not meaning THAT TYPE or positions but I really didn\'t know I could mangle my body into so many shapes and still survive! SHEEZ!

In the next few weeks I have been asked to do 2 SSDI cases, tutor a computer class, face painting party, write a grant, and do some transcribing (all for pay thank God!). Additionally, I am volunteering grant writing for the church, the VBS craft help and volunteering the VBS back drop. I will do my best to try to REMEMBER to take pics so I can down load them on DS for all to see. Hmmmm, may it not be my final tribute! If it is, look for it on EBay as dead artist work is worth some major bucks. ROFLOL
It\'s hysterical really......I pray for God to use me and when I whine (He\'s talked to me about not liking my grumbling!) He really piles on the stuff to keep me busy and Q-U-I-E-T! ROFLOL

Art therapy hon... I am trying to get into an art therapy program through a woman\'s centre. The classes are being taught at the Ceramic Museum of Art (or something like that)... you create a dinner service and it and your story will actually be displayed in the museum, cool huh? Well, for me, I did begin. Just got a notebook and did some ideas I \"felt\" and I did relax & feel better. HOWEVER, I am unsure as to how this is supposed to help me \"fix\" the issues I am being bothered with. Hmmmm. I suppose the feeling better is good in itself. I wouldn\'t want someone to see them, not that they\'d figure them out symbol wise I don\'t believe, but there is always the \"fear\" they will figure them out or WORSE interpret them as something they aren\'t. SHEEZ! However, I will stand with the standard comment that they are \"impressionistic\" and mean whatever it means to the viewer. That\'s not a lie, and I know what it means to me. Will be checking out the links you have listed for DS. Heck, it may give me some ideas. Don\'t think there is a \"wrong way\" per se to do an art therapy journal/work. Just as long as it gets your \"issues\" out so you don\'t explode/implode or go nuts. ROFLOL Love & hugs
