OK, so far MIRAPEX should be given to everyone on God's green earth. Also if you'd like, a dose of Prozac for added happiness. LOL Just kidding. Mirapex has given me mobility & flexability like WOW! I am having some side effects that are typical (nausea) but not bad and hey, I could afford to drop a few pounds anyway.
Just got my son sort of kinda straight on the baby (Joshua) room. First they wanted 1 mural on the wall...ok, no problem. Then they said no, murals on all 4 walls floor to ceiling. DO I LOOK LIKE LEONARDO AND IS THIS THE SISTINE CHAPEL????? Then all 4 walls but only chair rail to ceiling. FINALLY, my son, who I swear I never dropped on his head repeatedly but he did fall out of his crib just 1 time, decides that the canvases with the matching crib set design is a good idea as they can be hung on the walls quickly & easily. OK, now he is stuck as I finished the first canvas that matches the crib set and it is on this site for viewing.
Now, get this, hubby looks at my painting (8x10) and says, "You can paint better than that. It looks cartoony." I promise I didn't drop him on his head repeatedly either and can't vouch for his crib experience. I explained that it's cartoony because it MATCHES the crib set and I show him. "Oh, well, then, you did a good job." Someone, please, deliver me as I think I may go round the bend! ROFLOL ROFLOL What did hubby think I would do for the baby????? Raphael nudes? ROFLOL ROFLOL Nah, don't think so.
You can't tell it in the pic but I put bits of glow in the dark paint in the grass so it is totally cool when the lites go out! Do you think I'll freak the kid out? I mean, let's imagaine as he gets a bit older.....
It's bedtime, mommy turns out the light, the pictures GLOW. SCREEEEEEEEAM from Joshua and mom comes running. "What's wrong", she'll ask. He'll point, and say "Lights! There's lights everywhere!" At which point she will assure him it's his imagination and I will have inadvertantly (oooooo another big word!) scarred my grandson's psyche for life and he will be on a psych's couch as and adult rambling about the "lights" from his childhood and the psych will medicate him and........
OK, I'll stop. I'll leave out any further glow in the dark paints as it is scaring the crap outta me! ROFLOL ROFLOL
Reminds me of when my sis had my neice. She called me up all freaked out about what if this and what if that and I finally just said, "Look, you're gonna screw this kid's mind up no matter how hard you try so just love her and do your best. That's all anyone can do." ROFLOL ROFLOL Ok, so I'm not Ann Landers but isn't it true? There is NO perfect parent except Joseph & Mary and the Bible tells about them having to try to locate Jesus when they couldn't find Him. No disrespect intended, just saying, each parent does their best and these 2 were top of the line!
So, that's been my life as of late....slinging paint, hitting yard sales (which I love) and popping MIRAPEX waiting for more Rod Stewart concerts! ROFLOL
Hey, maybe I scarred hubby when I put a Rod Stewart poster on the ceiling right over our bed. ROFLOL ROFLOL ROFLOL I said "Yep, the last thing to see before I sleep and the first thing I'll see when I wake up." ROFLOL I did take it down after I saw him shaking his head repeatedly and it looked like it was wiggling loose! ROFLOL Now, don't get me wrong, I just love Rod Stewart for his singing. Would love to have just 1 dance, a kiss on the cheek and a signed pic with me & him before I die. Yeah, it ain't on E-Bay as I looked. ROFLOL
Hugs & love to all my peeps!

Have you ever seen Rod in concert? I have - he\'s so sexy! I had 3rd row seats and it was incredible. He\'s been one of my favorites for years...In fact I had his poster over my bed as a teen!!! Our song for our wedding was \"Have I told you lately?\"....I understand the Rod deal totally... Of course, for me, there\'s always Lenny Kravitz....gentle hugs and wishes for painfree days...
Girl, the only real concert I ever saw was Rod Stewart and I about wrecked in a snow storm spinning out into the median! I put the truck in 4-wheel drive and got back onto interstate! I was so close and still used binoculars! ROFLOL Haven\'t been to but the 1 concert as I live in the back woods of no-where. I do love that man! Ahhhhhh. My favorite is \"FOREVER YOUNG\" and have made son promise to have it played at my funeral.
OMG! It is the truth about your kids, their kids, your spouse..how come evreyone\'s a critic??? we bust A__ to give them something wonderful and unique and all they do is nit-pick! I once made linoleum rugs painted to match the cutains in bathroom..and they matched the curtain print perfect..all they said is why so many lighthouses??? Grrrr... so what they took me 3 days, they matched the print exactly...they didn\'t ask why the store made curtains that had so many light houses????
Ingrates! Off with their heads ...ARRRggggghhhhh!
Glad you are moving! Isn\'t it grand?
Nan
Yes, Nan, moving is a miracle as I\'ve not truly been fluid for soooooo long. Always like an old woman or a Model T needing cranked up to get going. LOL Hugs.
You are so hysterical!!!!!! Loved your journal!! I USED to paint (oil) but can\'t anymore.......I miss that a lot.
Hang in w/the pain....Me & you are two of a kind!!!
Hugs too,
KZ
Doneitall --- Maybe you can find an alternative way as I have. I don\'t \"Paint\" like I used to but I find ways of doing it still. Look for the pencil grips that keep you from getting hand cramps and instead put them on the paint brush handles. Or how\'s about just wrapping gauze and med tape around the handles to help the grip? I am assuming it is the small handles that are the problems. Hope these ideas help. Hugs to you....
Oh great! thanks for the info! And I am going to ask my Dr about Mirapex!!! I could loose this tire I got around me & I don\'t care if I have to puke my guts out! Ha, ha.
Like my husband says (which I now say!!) I\'m up to about 45 psi! Dang....I hate it.
Good luck to you & I so hope you feel better too!!
Hugs & more.
Luv ya,
KZ
OK KZ, hope the paint brush idea helps and haven\'t lost weight that much. It just kinda takes the eating desire away. The nausea subsides quickly, at least for me. HOWEVER, the dreams are totally WEIRD! SHEEZ!
