Wow. I will be 45 tomorrow. I had celebrated the past 24 birthdays with someone that no longer loves me and I now can't stand to be around.
We had a tradition for my birthday that I get an ice cream cake. I love ice cream cake. Now what do I do? Should I continue that tradition or drop it?

Missy is right, this is now your day to do what you want. If you liked the tradition, keep it. This new chapter in our lives is all about change and starting new traditions. Hope you\'re doing well and happy birthday tomorrow! I hope you at least have something planned so you don\'t get down. The holidays and other special occasions, especially the first ones w/out THEM are tricky. Hugs
