I'm back.....
Hello, everyone. My name is Jon, and I'd like to say a few things that has been on my mind for a while. First of all, even though I've not been n here for ages--so long in fact, that I don't remember when--but I've not forgotten you at all. There are some of you that I have as friends, and some of you I don't know, but I pray for all of you equally for our Higher Power to give us strength to continue on our Journey to recovery and a little bit of normalcy, whatever that may be for us as individuals.
Second, I'm using my friend's hotspot to be on the internet now, so I won't be on daily because I don't have the internet at where I am staying at for right now due to financial situations on my part from a few months ago. Let's just say it has literally been hell with the SSA and my income at that time. Now, we have to fear a government shut down in December 2015. I'm told that Congress is scheduled to vote on it on December 11, 2015 to continue running or not. Millions of individuals will be cut off, suffering even worse than now, with no income to support themselves and to pay their bills if the government shuts down. It is not only disability that will be affected, but all social security...including retirement. This is not a scare tactic, it is in the news since this summer of 2015. I've been praying day and night, pouring out my soul daily, for this shutdown not to happen...not for my sake but for your sake.
Third, despite the potential of number 2 coming true, I'd like to encourage you all to pray, pray, pray without giving up. There is power in prayer. I guarantee it. It can and will change circumstances and people if we only pray and believe diligently. You don't have to be a Catholic or Protestant to pray, you can believe in a 'Supreme Being' or even an unbeliever that is full of hope to make a change. If you have hope, then you have a purpose. If you have a purpose, then you are living to your full capability to make the world a better place by praying for your government. Make your voice heard in the spiritual realm, cry out to God! Cry out in hope, because it is not only black lives, or white lives, or Native American, or Chinese or any other nationality lives that matters, but all lives matter...whether disabled or not, WE ALL MATTER!!!
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Jon
