Update

This is where I am at. I have had four shots of Lupron so far but no relief from pain. I went to my OBGYN who said I needed to go to the GI the GI asked me why I was there because I have no GI issues but since I was there why don't we do a colonoscopy just for fun! Oh boy that doesn't sound fun at all. So I'm still in pain and had a sonogram at the OBGYN and of course as we all know with endometriosis that comes back with nothing on it. I start to cry and basically argue with the doctor that I feel like a lab rat and feel the colonoscopy is not necessary and it puts me through just another out patient surgery. He refuses to do another lap until I have the colonoscopy done. So that is scheduled for Wednesday but I have a second opinion on Tuesday and see what he has to say regarding the colonoscopy depends on if I go or not. My second opinion doctor I did research on him he has actually done some studies and research at the University in Dallas so hopefully he'll have some answers for me. I didn't want to cancel the colonoscopy because if I have to get it done I want to get it done sooner so that someone will do something about my pain! Right now I literally feel like a big ol' lab rat but hopefully someone will give me answers this week.

I don\'t know why every single woman I have talked to, when there dr can\'t figure out what to do for them they send them to a GI doc to get a colonoscopy,. Same thing happened to me, and it didn\'t do any good. Good luck with yours hon.

The GI is a big waste of time and now I think I\'m going to have to argue big time with my gyno. to get him to do another lap.
