Opinions Please
I need everyones opinions, I am thinking about cutting my hair. I am in a stage of my life right now where I need a change. Something new and exciting. So this is where you come in. I want to know what you all think I should do. Here is a picture of my hair now.
Now I have been wanting to grow my hair out, but all I ever do is put it in a ponytail, so I want to get it cut short so I can either wear it straight or big, like puffy, like style it. Here is one picture of what I am thinking of doing. 
I am not sure if I will go that short, but something like that.
So Now I need everyones opinions. And please be honest.

Well I think you should go for it if u want a change. I get that way too sometimes and it makes me feel better. Just know that everyone\'s hair texture is different so if it is thicker it may not lay that straight or something. I\'d take that pic and tell the hairdresser that you want something like that but maybe not as short...I ask their opinion as to what they think it would look like with my hair type and a lot of times they will advise u a bit like taking a little bit at a time and then can go shorter if u want after that. Just tell them what u want it to do. I like to have layers bc mine is so thick. I love to get those hairstyle magazines too and look through those - mostly celeb hairstyles and stuff but reg ones as well - they are usually 5.00 at anywhere they sale magazines. Well I say go for it...do what u want. It\'s good to change and it\'s only hair it\'ll grow back. Personally I think it\'d look good, but like u I may not go as short at first bc it may be too shocking for you unless ur daring enough. Like I said tell them what u want ur hair to do like if u dont wanna spend a lot of time fixing it etc. I need to get mine trimmed too. I\'ll eventually cut it shorter as well. I like short hair, and the best thing is, if you don\'t like it that short, it grows back :) I have a flowbee, stbx found the 6\" spacer does her hair nice. when we split I had to buy a new one so I could keep doing my hair. Hair is highly overrated anyway.
christal has a lot of good thoughts. I don\'t think I would go as short as the other picture you posted. That is a drastic change. You do want something quick and easy (because of your job) but you deserve a little style. Take a look at magazines, talk to different stylists at different shops. If you see someone out (store, etc) and you like their hair style, ask them where they get their hair done. Yes..post a pic when get it done - we want to see!
don\'t know if I can help much, I had hair down to my knees and wanted to cut it off so badly, finally did and hated it, felt like I\'d lost my idenity. I am currently growning it long again, seems to be taking forever. I hated the way I looked in short hair even though I wore it back or up all the time. But you\'ve got a really cute face and with a really fun short cut that is messy I think it would look really good, lots of layers as it looks thick... let us all know, can\'t wait to see what you decide :)
Cut your hair! I will also be getting my hair cut as well. I love to get lots of layers in order to maintain fullness. My only advice is to go out & get a hair style magazine & look at all the pictures to see which hairstyle you like the best. The photo that you posted up looks good. But with that said sometimes its even better to look at more short styles to find the best look for you. Also I have had many bad hair cut experiences in my life. It took years before I found the right stylist for me.
All in all a change in hairstyle can be very refreshing & I look forward to seeing the new you.

I say you should go for the change it won\'t be that drastic since your hair is the length it is allready......i say go all the way though ,don\'t just kinda go for the style of cut if you like it than do it right....it\'s hair ..it grows and the change can make you feel like a new woman .You gotta put a picture of your new cut up when you get it and tell us what you think about it and how it makes you feel.
screw it, go for it if you need a change. some ppl get tattoes, some piercings, some hair cuts, some grow their hair out. Yeah, you need a change, but do it for you, not because of what you think other ppl will think about it. If you don\'t like it, worst can happen is it will grow back then poof, back to same ole same ole.
Definately cut your hair if that is what you want to do. It\'s hair and will grow back. I get that urge too sometimes and I just always go for it. I really like the style you have picked out and your hairdresser will let you know how it will work for you and if there are little changes that should be made to make it work for you. I look forward to seeing the results!
I think you would look great either way. I kinda like long hair myself but for wanting change, it might be a nice alternative to try.
