2:58 pmCrap on the bottom of my shoe!That is the perfect way to describe my day today. First it is a Monday after a holiday. Second, I have 2 staff that called in sick. I put an ad in the paper for employment over the weekend so I also have about 20 messages that I need to return. The phone has been ringing off the hook. I was planning on starting back on my diet today, but it is days like this that make me want to eat about 10 doughnuts. I didn't have doughtnuts here today, but that probably could've helped. The staff are frustrated with other staff that don't like to come to work. So am I. What is with people and their work ethics. If I wanted to do all the work myself, I wouldn't hire anyone. So if you want a job here, come to work or you will not have a job here anymore. I am not happy with it right now.Anyway, I had a nice chat with the guy that I am interested in. I called him and left a message and he called me right back. It was nice to get some things off my chest. I did not tell him that I am interested in him, but I told him that I love him and am very glad that he is at my church. Just to let you know, he is in a ministry position at my church and it is a ministry that I have always been really involved in. We went to lunch with a big group yesterday and got a chance to talk a bit. He said a few things that made me wonder something. I have been going to the church for 9 1/2 years and they have seen all of the crap that I have gone through. This guy, we will call him A, knows some information about me that I was surprised about. I asked him about this and how he got the information. He was very open with me and told me that he asked one of the women about me and that the stuff she told him not was in a negative way at all, but in a loving way. I guess he was interested in knowing about me and so he got the scoop from the church informer. I love the lady dearly, but I hope that it didn't change the way he looks at me. He was new at the church when he asked all these things. He has been there a little over a year now and he has become a dear close friend to me. I am very glad that we are getting closer and closer. He asked me to come to choir practice tonight again, so I am going to do my best to make it there. I better go, I have 2 interviews here right now, one lady came really eary and so they are both at the same table filling out the applications.
