10:36 amI am sitting here in the office of my daycare center, smelling the wonderful aroma of the turkey baking in the oven, listening to holiday music (yes, I listen to Christmas music this early), and thinking of how I miss having holidays with my ex. I don't really miss him, just the time that he had together. We do have good memories. I look forward to new memories with new people and I can't dwell on the past. I am going to be singing in the Thanksgiving service this evening at my church. Nothing really big, but I am going and really looking forward to it. There is a special person that I am excited to see there, but I will say much about that yet. I am actually talking on the phone with my ex right now and we having a decent conversation. He told me he misses me. I miss him too. But I can't get into that right now. I don't want to start loving him again, that way. I was actually feeling bad that I have been avoiding him so I called him to tell him hi. He is going to take our son to dinner tonight, but didn't ask to have him on Thanksgiving. So I figured that is the least I could do. The guy that I am excited to see tonight just sent me a message asking me if I could play my flute on Sunday. I said yes. I am going to play O come O come Emmanuel. I am really excited to do that since I love playing my flute also. Even though I am sad that my marriage failed, things seem to be looking up. I know that things are going to be better than ever.
