6:22 amI have actually been awake since 4:30 this morning. I just stayed in bed until 5:50. I was trying to fall back asleep, but lately I just haven't been sleeping well at all. I am thankful that it is Friday. I have a busy day at work today though. Have a ton of paperwork to catch up on and budgeting to do. Hopefully I will be productive and stay off DS for most of the day. That is the plan, but not sure what will happen.Last night my ex sent our son a Transformer email. It was really cool. http://optimus.transformersmovie.com/receiver.php?key=30EC1784F4095EECA34A4D8C6397FFD7 if you are interested in hearing it. Anyway, my son was so excited and wanted to call him and talk to him about it. We tried and tried and I even sent him a message, but he never answered the phone. Then I realized he was probably at practice. He is so busy that he cut back on his work, but he can still do almost 10 hours a week of band practice. He is very confident that once they are done with their album they are going to make alot of money on sales. I have this thing that I say. When we were together I wanted his time, but now that we aren't I want his money. So now I hope the band makes it. I am just kidding about the money thing. However it has been very hard to go from a 2 income home to a 1 income home. So I guess it's more like I need his money. Anyway, short tangant. The point is that he was not available for his son at a time when he was excited. I didn't event want our son to call him, but then I thought, well he sent him the message and he is his dad. But all it did is disappoint him and show him more that he is too busy for him. The message that I sent said those same things. And then I left a message on his voicemail that said the same thing, but added for him to not call back, considering he usually doesn't finish with band practice until 10:30 or 11 and that is too late anyway.I am making a October 26th resolution. I am no longer speaking with my ex. If he calls I am not going to answer it. I am not going to call him back. I am not going to respond to his emails or IMs. I am doing this for a couple reasons. 1. I need space from him because I need to get over him and 2. I am hoping that he will miss me. Anyway, I have to go finish getting ready for work and get my son up and get him ready. He doesn't have school today, but he has to go to work with me really early. I bet my ex is sleeping in, while, even though my son doesn't have to be anywhere, he still has to get up and get ready. Must be nice to not have to worry about anything in the world but yourself.

Sounds like a good Oct 26th resolution. I think I\'m going to make one for myself: I will stay positive no matter what and not respond negatively to any of her approaches. We\'ll see....
sounds like a good plan!!
You may still need to contact him concerning business matters such as money & your son, but keep it strictly business if you do... distance definatly will help you heal even thou I know it will be hard. Just keep busy like you are doing and keep posting & chatting to fill your alone time. And remember, you are not alone. You have good company here on DS & online~! :) Cheers to you ~A!! ~E
I couldn\'t have said it better than dreamster.. I think distance is good but there may also be business matters that you have to settle. However, speaking from experience, don\'t give in to little ploys. I know my ex calls me all the time over stupid little penny ante stuff just for the contact so you have to judge what\'s really important and what\'s not! Wrap yourself up in your work and your son and live life to the fullest... Reach out to God also!! God bless you! Love and prayers, Gayla
