8:00 amThis has been a really busy week for me, but it has been one of the best weeks for me emotionally in a long time. I have not felt as much dispair about my ex. I finally got someone hired. This round of interviews have actually been wonderful. I had 4 very qualified girls to pick from and I believe that I picked the best. She lives only a few miles from the daycare and she told me that I don't need to worry about bad weather, if it snows alot, she will just walk. I am feeling really good about having her here. She will fit in with the other girls and be a good team player. That is one thing that is so hard about the staff that I have. Out of all 8 of us, there is only one man. Lots of hormones. It is difficult when you get that many women together everyday, all day long. I don't really tolerate gossip here. I have actually fired people for gossiping. One of them being a girl that I hired that goes to my church. That one was really hard. Anyway, I think I will be pleased with the staff I have now.So, what am I going to do this weekend? First, I am going to get my heavy duty house work done. You know, vaccuuming, mopping floors, cleaning toilets and tubs, dusting. The not everyday stuff. Plus, I got laundry. I am also going to spray for spiders this weekend. I found a fairly large black widow in my living room this morning. She must have spun the web through the night, because she wasn't there when I went to bed. The bugs in my neighborhood are horrible. I live in the foot hills of the mountains and see all kinds of wildlife. In fact last week while I was taking my son to school, we saw two large bucks fighting. The kind of fighting that you only see on the discovery channel, we saw it in real life. It was pretty cool. I might try to get out this weekend and take in some nature. I has been getting pretty cold here, so I am not sure if I will get a chance to do that, but it is something that is on my agenda. I am hoping that the ex won't ask to have our son this weekend. In the divorce, we agreed that I have custody and he can have visits, no less than 2 times a month, but as long as it fits my plans. I don't want to have to tell him no again.Well, I have to start making breakfast for the kiddos. We are having cheesy tortillas and applesauce.
