1:30 pmAppearantly it is Boss's day! I had no idea and I heard the staff kind of talking about things and I started to worry. Things like, "Did you get the THING?" So here I am wondering what they are talking about. There is a gal that has been helping me out for the last 3 weeks. Her last day is on Friday, she is taking a Director position job on the other side of town. She has been so supportive and a wonderful worker. She is the one who orchestrated the who thing. So, when she was leaving for her break she came to me and told me that all the babies were crying and they needed my help in the infant room. I have all the payments on my desk so I locked the door behind me. When I got into the room, there weren't any babies crying but I helped anyway. When I got back to my office there was a bag hanging on my door. Inside was a card that everyone signed, a box of chocolate cookies (that I am going to share with everyone), and a decorative seasonal plant (fake, but that's ok). This has totally made my day. It is nice to know that the staff is happy. I sure work hard to make sure they are happy.
