8:40 amso my ex was at my house last night until 11:45 pm keeping our son up. That is what really ticks me off. He is not the one who has to get our son up and ready for school. In fact, he is probably still sleeping right now in his warm bed, when we have been up for over 2 hours now and our son is at school and I am at work. He doesn't have to deal with a cranky kid in the morning. But he wouldn't leave. That was also a problem when we were together. He wouldn't come to be until 2 am and when he did come he wanted to talk to me about his day. Well, my day was going to be starting in 3 hours and he is just now coming to bed. That is what caused alot of our fights. I would go ask him to come to bed, he would say he doesn't want to yet, I would start hollering and saying rude things, then he would beat me up. It might sound kind of sick, but in a way I felt relief then. At least he would be showing me some attention instead of his friends on the computer. Who cared if I ended up having bruises, at least he was the one doing it and I wasn't being neglected anymore. I realized that I had battered wife syndrome. He would beat me up and I was say please don't leave me. I know that I could do much better than that. I think the thing I keep holding on to is the hopes and dreams that I had of having a family and growing old with him. Those dreams where there when we first got married, but they quickly faded, even 7 months into our marriage, that is when the violence began. I have to keep telling myself that I deserve better. I know I deserve better. But when is the better thing going to come along?

I think it\'s time for some boundaries. Maybe to tell him what is and isn\'t allowed in your new life. Either way, good luck, I know this has to be tough.
