This morning I am feeling the urge to cry. I am still happy and there has not been anything that set me back and nothing specactular has happened either, but it seems that the little things that remind me of the good times I had with my husband makes me get all teary-eyed. There will always be those good memories, there will also be bad memories. There will be memories alltogether. We spent the last 8 years of our lives together, so how can you expect either of us to just pretend that it never happened. I guess that is probably why my husband has also wanted to stick around, even though there is no relationship.
Don't get me wrong, I know my relationship is over and I am moving on, but there are still those memories that continue to come up in my mind. Smells that bring back emotions that I had. Things that people say that trigger those memories. I guess I am not really dwelling on the past, I am looking forward to the future. I am admitting that those are only memories, and no longer a reality in my life.
I know that eventually I will have new memories that don't involve my husband. New happy memories that involve someone new and special. I know there are some great things that God has planned for my life. I am looking forward to the revealing of those plans.

Oh sweetie, I can truly relate. It is very normal what you are feeling, and I hope that these good memories help in your healing instead of hurting you. I have caught myself reliving the night I first kissed my ex. It hurts but I remember that at one time I was somone he wanted. It is time for me to say goodbye!
God Bless,
Tricia

don\'t know why my message posted twice?!?
~sorry for the typo meant to type SCENT~!
Yes all it takes is something small to bring back those memories and for us to start crying all over again, even after we felt we have moved on. Stay strong and now that those feeling will pass, just concentrate on something else, you\'ll be fine.
Hang in there. Everyone goes through what you are going through. I am glad to hear you are looking toward the future! That is the right attitude! = )
