I had to come into work today after all to get some things done before Monday. It is much easier to get work done when there are not people here anyway. I thought I would let you all know how last night went with my husband.
We went to Chuck E Cheese with our 6 year old son. It was a very nice time. We decided to try and catch a movie afterwards, but we missed it so when trying to decide what we were going to do for the rest of the evening, when drove and talked. My husband decided that he needed to just go home and study for a test that he has on Monday and plus he has to work all weekend. It was very hard to part ways, I think it was hard for both sides. He gave our son a hug and then made a point to give me a hug as well. I cried as he left, which he did say that he wanted to come over, but he also needs to find a new job that will be good for him, plus he needed to work. Anyway, about 15 minutes after we parted ways he called me to tell me that he misses us. That was a nice surprise. I told him that we miss him to. He did make it a point to tell me that he misses me and Wesley. Which tells me that he doesn't just miss our son, but he misses the both of us. Anyway, he talked on the phone with our son for a minute and told him that he loves him, our son asked him "what about mom" and he said "I love her as much as I love you". I just don't know what to think of it.
Right now my husband just IM'd and said he tried calling me and now he is going to call me here at the daycare. So now I a going to finish up.
