Ok so I have totally went down hill. I am starting to get realy depressed and I dpn't want to be. I miss my husband so much. I just don't even know what to say. I am hurting so much inside.
OK deep breath. Let\'s think about this. He was abusive, he left you, he left the church and he left his child. Right? Weight that against having him back for what companionship? You say you are devout, then you must believe that God is standing by you now, in fact he is probably carrying you right now. You can\'t control the way you feel. Trust me, I tried and failed miserably. You can only control what you do with those emotions. It\'s ok to be mad, sad, lonely whatever. Just think of the positives that came out. The biggest is your boy. Maybe this was Gods plan, he wanted you to have a child to share your love with. Give him a big hug and kiss and just watch him. He\'ll bring a smile to your face.
God does have a plan. We can\'t see it, and that frustrates us. I have found that accepting my emotions, whatever they may be at the moment, helps. I don\'t fight the sadness or the pain anymore. I just accept that that is what I feel, and try to distract myself until it passes. Before I know it I am moving on to something else. Kids are a great distraction. It is hardest to find a distraction late at night or when the kids are gone. I pick up my Bible, and Pray \"Lord, I hurt so bad right now and I need some comfort. I need the answers only You can give. Please guide me and give me what I need.\" Then I open my Bible, and each time I get exactly what I needed. Never fails. I sometimes have to think about what I have read, but it always helps. I hope this helps you. :)
