Last night my husband came over again and had dinner with us. He probably wouldn't have done it except he left his laptop charger at my sisters house and he really needed it. The visit went pretty good though. And he has been talking to me more often about simple things when a few weeks ago he would not talk to me about anything. An example is that he opened the conversation up by telling me that he had to run to the store, and I was just continuing the conversation by asking him what he was going to get. He then answered by saying just stuff. That made me wonder if he was going to blow his money on band equipment and not his son who needed medication. After a bit of an argument he finally told me he was going to by some gloves. OMG!!! What is so hard about telling me that he needed new gloves. It had been really cold here in Colorado Springs and that is expected. But for some reason he thought it was none of my business to know that he was buying gloves. He thinks he has to keep things from me. He has always thought that. "He just needs his privacy." he says. I am his wife, what kind of privacy does he need if he is going to purchase something.
Anyway, I am just going on about nothing. He called again this morning while I was grocery shopping for the daycare and said that he needs me to endorse a check for him. So he is going to come by here and have me do that. At least I will get to see him. And hopefully it is a good visit. He also told me that he is going to be showing a couple people the house that might end up being roommates with him. One is a girl. That makes me feel really uncomfortable and scared that I might totally lose any chance for us to get back together. He said that I don't need to worry, because he has no desire to be with anyone. I trust him. I am still praying that he will find his way back to me again though.
I am ok with things right now. As much as I can be though.

Endorse a check? Why? If he needs you to sign it, must be half yours! If he is hiding things, trust your instincts, not him! I learned that the hard way. God CAN change him, but he has to be willing to be changed! Keep on trusting and obeying God and you won\'t go wrong!
The more that YOU have your own life and start pursuing other interests the more he is going to be interested in what you are doing instead of the other way around. I know I have said this before but try to concentrate your energy on yourself and your child. Meet new people, join a group you have been interested in not only does it take your mind off him for awhile it will make him wonder what is going on.
Being one myself that draws a little hope from circumstances, it does seem that he is coming up with reasons to see you. Hmmmm? Take computer with, but no charger????? Don\'t get in a big hurry thats for sure, keep your heart guarded. As hard as it may seem to think about, think about yourself a little. Your alot like the rest of us, are thinking about the others so much you/we forget about our selves. Know that you are in my prayers as well. - Larry
