Not a great day heart wise. I could feel it when I woke up. Not totally out of control but definitely out of rhythm. So it started roughly at 6.30am and didn't let up until about 12.30pm. After that I had a few blips later in the day. Managed to make it to the gym for 30 mins on the treadmill which got me through 3km's.Figured out that taking the magnesium tablet with something in my stomach was a better way to keep bowels happy. I am still yet to find a decent way to take the powdered supplements. Putting them in water they dont dissolve they just sit at the bottom like sand. I will google it today and see what suggestions other people have.No coffee for a week now and the headaches seem to have abated. People must be wondering why I keep ordering hot chocolate though!!

Is a particular diet helpful in minimizing these incidents?

Can you still exercise while in af? I feel really weak and don`t want to push through it

After my recent visit to the Dr of Chinese Medicine he said to try and remove as many stimulants as possible. Caffeine, alcohol, excess sugar, excess fat, etc. His overall view seems to be to eat as healthy as possible to give your body the correct fuel in order for it to work correctly. So while the previous items decrease replace them with fresh fruit, lots of dark leafy greens. I still haven\'t established any triggers yet.

It depends how violent the episode of AF is. A lot of people claim that light consistent exercise helps to stave off AF. I would never push too hard. Last night at the gym I felt really good and really wanted to crank up the treadmill and run for 10 minutes but after the episode earlier in the day that didn\'t make much sense so I continued with slow and steady wins the race.
