Blah
Let's see, woke up exhausted! Still not used to getting up any earlier than 11am, so boy is it a struggle to wakeup! Just feel like a tattle zombie all the time! Enjoyed the singing at church, but as usual when they got around to the prophesying I zoned out. I also kept on chatting to mum about this or that, which I think drove her nuts because she was trying listen to what people were saying. I kept on looking at the clock hoping it would end soon. I know that is not how I should be there, I should be enjoying it, but I find it hard to get into it lately.
I really believe it has everything to do with my sleep pattern. If I would just go to sleep earlier and get up earlier I wouldn't feel so wasted all the time, and I would have more time to spend with the Lord in the morning. They are always stressing how crucial it is to spend a little time with the Lord in the morning so we are set for the day, I haven't really done that for about six months or a year. I've been reading the Bible, but it feels like I have to force myself into it. It is not that I hate the Bible, Its just so hard for me to will myself to pick it up. But when I do, I am generally glad I did, for usually always get something from it even if it is something little. I get especially excited when I read a verse in the Bible that I know is a song, I can think about that verse all day then, because the melody sticks in my mind.
Anyway, had a nice chat to my friend Bei Se after church finished. She and her two sisters are from Malaysia, though they have been living here for a few years now. I only got to know her in 2008 at a church camp, we were going up in the same van, and we got to know one another at the camp. I found out that she was rather quiet like me, so we got along rather well. She wanted to learn how I said such and such word, or what a certain word meant because she was still learning English, though she knew enough that I could understand her most of the time.
Moving on, my mum invited her and her older sisters family over next Sunday, because my mum used to look after her niece and nephew and because she knows how much I need to meet up with friends more, when the only people I really see everyday are my family. So should be good! Gives me a chance to cook and bake something nice! Any excuse to cook something is a good one!
Speaking of cooking, did a nice salad today, with lettuce leaves, peanuts, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, camembert cheese, croutons and raspberry dressing. It tasted quite nice! And it was either salad or frozen mixed veggies, I'd take salad anyway over that! Seeing as we basically eat mixed veggies everyday!
Also watch the first disc of the X-files which was pretty interesting. I had no idea the series was as old as it is though. The first season goes back to 1992! I was only 2 years old back then! Man do I feel old! It isn't too bad for being from the early 90's, still quite good. Kind of reminds me of Supernatural or Fringe.
Was going to do a bit more art today but didn't really get around to it. It is not as if I have to do it now anyway, it would be counted as bonus hours now. But I don't like to leave things unfinished, so I may try to do some tomorrow, in between driving Lessons. Ugh, I so don't want to fail! That will be $135 down the drain if I do, and I can't afford that!
Okay probably will go back to playing that game I was on yesterday, (Shiver-Vanishing Hitchhiker). It's definitely a lazy Sunday that is for sure!
