Last night we had our first ladies meeting of the year. And it was a blessing. We talked about prayer being the power of moving mountains. We all have mountains that we have in our lives. Some of us can't see the top. For we are still standing at the bottom saying there is NO WAY I AM GOING TO MAKE IT UP THIS MOUNTAIN!!! I think back to last January how I just looked around my house crying every room reminded me of him. I looked at his chair and he was not in. I struggled daily to do the simple things. When we are walking through this greif process. Sometimes we just can't get motivated to do anything. There is just no energy. And yes, we believe we can't climb that mountain. I so wanted him to be back. And Matt he just went on like nothen really happened. That his dad was at the foot of Jesus so why is mommy a wreck, why is his mommy crying, why does she hide in the bedroom. I guess for a 12 year old boy that really is hard to understand. I wanted so much to have his faith. I wanted him to understand why mommy did not like climbing this mountain. But I didn't know the words to say. It took me 9 months to explain it all to him. And during that time. God also allowed him to open up to me. I can still remember the first time he really cry for missing his dad, and that was super bowl sunday. I had no idea what was going on. Even know I cried many times at a drop of a hat. Here was my son crying and crying. Football was Harry and Matt's thing. So the big game really sent him in to an emotional roller coaster. I can't even tell you who was playing in the game. But I know my son just wanted his dad there. A mountain he had to over come. So whether the mountain in our lives are small or big. Or there may be a whole mountain range that is there we must remember we need to pray. Prayer can move a mountain. I just want you to know I pray for each one of our mountains. That they will one day come crumbling down. Have a good day. EIleen
