I don't know how to feel today. There is a funeral for a police officer who was shot last week. My heart is so broken. I know that it is just so hard for his family and the other officers. I didn't know him but I just am flooded by the lovely media of his death. And pictures of his life. It brings me back to 20 years ago when I was studying to be the next police women. And two of my friends were killed in the line of duty. It really shook me up and my game plan for life changed for me. I would never go into criminal justice. I sometimes do wander what life would be like. But that didn't happen, so why fret on that stuff. It just is a sad day today.

I\'m sorry you are having a sad day. I understand how death of someone unknown can effect you. I, too, am effected by death.

LODD deaths will shake anyone who is close in anyway to the person who has given their life - even if it is someone in the comnmunity. It makes you realize how fragile our time here on earth is. The media will find all they can to publish - they should be outlawed but we have a constitution that protects them. Sorry for today being sad. Hugs, Bonnie

My dad was an officer for years and I know the stress the family can go through. I am so sorry for his family and your loss in this as well. I hope you are comforted today my friend. Warm hugs Rene\'
