Monday is here. Boy do weekends fly by. I didn't even get the things that needed to get accomplished. I am trying but somehow when I walk in that house I am so unmotivated. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting things accomplished. Holidays are coming faster than i can imagine. Can anyone help me know what is going on and why I can't seem to do anything but a few things when I get in the house. My weekend was awesome, spent it with my son. Sat we did a road ralley with his youth group. It was so much fun. We were divided into groups and then headed out to find clues, We had to figure out the clues and then move on to the next place. I had a group of girls. Which was so much fun. It is a special blessing when I get to be around girls. Because my son is all boy. And I like having this bond with them. My group came in third. matt's group came in first. And I ate a alive gold fish. For the team of course. First time to do that. But one of us had to do it. Well Talk to you all later.Eileen

you really ate a live goldfish??? motivation on a clean house is not up there on my priority list, motivation to live is a biggie
I am very unmotivated about the house. I am so glad to hear your had a wonderful weekend. That truly is living. It is great for you and your son.
As for getting motivated to get things done. This is what I do. I make a list and break the jobs done so each job is only a few minutes each. Cross it off the list when it is done. This way you have accomplished something and won\'t be too hard on yourself. I know the rest of my house suffers but I focus on what I did get done. Just don\'t be so hard on yourself. Keep on having fun! I girl I work with tried it and she said it keeps her from getting overwhelmed.
Sounds like you had a great time-I\'m really happy for you. But I don\'t think I could eat a live gold fish!! As far as doing things around the house, I do only what has to be done. Then once a week or so I push myself to do something else. It\'s really hard cause I don\'t have any motivation to take care of my home. My boys don\'t either, but they never did!!LOL, Sharon
