Think Positive Keep your eyes focus. The bible teaches us a story of Peter when he was at sea and jesus said come to me. When Peter began to walk his eyes were focus and he walked towards. Then all of the sudden he turned away and started to fall. Well how many times do we focus on the bad in our lives. The more we focus on the bad the further we fall deeper and deeper more negative we become. So we need to keep our eyes on the Lord, He shall direct our paths. For he is the light. We don't have to live in darkness. Oh how I have been doing that. I am going to keep my eye on the light. Negative bring darkness

You are so right on that. Sometimes we can\'t see the forest for the trees.

You are right. Sometimes we really have to fight the negative thoughts that seem to creep in when we are depressed. I find it difficult to fight the depression right now. I am just so lonely for my husband. However, I am praying everyday that God give me the strength to carry on as he would want me to. Thank you for your inspiring message.
Amen and high five to that!
I hear you! Every time a negative thought enters my thought I try to counter it with a good thought. I have been trying that for the past week or so and it is working pretty good right now. I recently have been going thru some stuff with soc.sec. and I finally was laying down spinning around with thoughts in my mind and my eyes finally came to rest on a present my grandmother (mom\'s mom) gave me when I was turning 8 yrs old. The bible..king jame\'s version. I picked it up, and flipped it open. Read. Flipped it again. Read. Over and over again. And every passage that my eyes landed on when the pages stopped flipping involved trusting in the Lord and I realized that I had to hand Him my troubles and leave everything up to Him, because that\'s who its up to anyway. So I prayed right there to Him. I said, please take these burdens of me and allow me to feel better. And He did! I have been feeling good the last few days, even though I have a lot to supposidly be worried about. But I\'m not worried, because I realized that no matter what life has brought my way, God has always been there for me and always will be. That in the end everything bad that I have gone through has had some positive result, that everything I am living through now has some point and purpose. And now I feel safe and loved and know that no matter what comes my way, God WILL provide for me and for all of His children, if only they will look for the positive, the light, Him.
