So many things have been taught to me this year. When Harry passed last year, I remember being at peace. Looking at him on the hospital bed, not in pain anymore. Made me feel relief. I didn't understand, what had happened. No one could explain what happen, not even the doctor on duty. Which had a hard time telling me my husband was dead. The nurse had to take over. Standing there alone in the room, I just was so overwhelmed with the thought three hours had past, and how I was not there in his final minutes. As Harry wanted me to be in church worshiping the Lord. Not in a hospital room, by his side. Kinda strange when you think about it, He knew I needed to be there to serve the Lord. Although many times he talked to me about his homecoming, even the night before he died he said I think I am going to meet Jesus. I in no way thought that would happen. 9 surgeries, and he was still as stubborn as anything. When my sister in law got there, we just sat there and talked. and then I told her my house is a mess we need to clean it. She instructed me we needed to call Pastor. I said no way he is not going to come to the house it is a mess. So she said lets go to my house. The night was foggy, and my lovely dear father came and cleaned my house. I just sat there drinking coffee and crying, I could not believe this was all happening. And I HAD NO CLUE, WHAT I NEEDED TO DO!!!!!!So, today, I feel peace that I have made it through the year. And my heart is still pumping, and I am still worshiping my savior. As my husband is finaly at peace.
