We all grieve in so many ways. One day depression sets in, and we feel like running away. The next anger, lonliness, confusion, and self doubt. Oh boy I never walked this walk before. Not knowing where my emotions, are going to be from the next day to next. I want to say this new experience. Is one that is filled with a roller coaster of emotions. But that is ok. If anything, God has taught me to lean on him, depend on him, more than I ever thought possible. As we cry our tears, we are not sure that they will ever dry up. But I am here to tell you. Those tears, are not something to get us discouraged, but to help you heal. It is amazing, how a good cry will give you peace, when you feel lost. As the day approaches, of the 1year, I know God has been there molding me and shaping and teaching me. But most of all loving me. He loves each of us. And all he wants from us is to give it to him and let him, mend the broken hearts. The memories we share, will always be a treasure to each of us. As I began a journal last night of things that Harry and I lived for in the 13 years together. I felt such a comfort knowing he was part of my life. As I look at my son, I can see both of us. And see there is a life worth living for. But these treasures, are worth more than silver and gold. They are us. Husband and wife, walking together, to see the world as a couple. It wasn't always easy, but it shines in my heart like a dimond.
