Good Morning, What a wonderful day. Big rain storm yesterday, and today the sun is shining. Praise the Lord. God is so great he brings the rain to feed our crops. My heart is raining inside, but I am not crying tears. Some how today I just feel life has more to offer than tears on the pillow. There is more here than meets the eye. I know my strength comes from the Lord. And that as each day goes by he reveals I am His child, and he wants me to turn to him.
As I sit and think of my husband and all the pain he was in. I just can't imagine him feeling the pain that he did. I always wanted to take that pain away. I wanted him to have one day of freedom of no pain. That day has arrive and today he lives in eternity with out pain. Praise the Lord for his promises. Harry loved the spring time. For years he played softball for Dave's. It was away he stayed young.
I think of the people who hung at Dave's. How close they were. What a family made of people who had nothen to do but hang at the bar. These people loved my husband for who he was. It made me cry when I saw the flowers sent to the church from our friends at Dave"s. Even know the Lord had us leave that situation, when I got saved. And Dave's was no longer the place to hang for us. Those people still cared about us. We met at Dave's. We shared our first new years there. On that New years Eve(1993) a friend came up to me and said, she was so happy that he finally found his soul mate. This freaked me out for we were only dating a few months. How did she know he loved me enough to marry me? I laughed and moved on, but this scared me. I couldn't even express to him all that was going on in my head. 4 years later they closed Daves. And that family all left and went there separate ways. Harry and I had already moved on. We never heard from these friends again. He said they couldn't understand his injury. And it sadden him that his friends left him because he became handicapped. But he knew the bar scene, would kill him. With the medicines he was on. They never forgot the memories they shared and I saw that on the night of the viewing. Don't know why I write about this. But I think it is because I think while we are alive we should tell those we treasure how special they truely are. Don't wait, for it is a special time to say thank you, to tell a joke, to hug them and say I love you.
