HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!
Yes, I change my mood to good today. Because bad is not what I am feeling. I feel very blessed to have my DS friends. They are lifting me up in prayer and God is changing me. Praise the Lord.
As we walk in this darkness it is only to make us stronger. I know that the Lord is with me. He has a purpose for all this. He is my refuge. And at times I try to run the other way. God intends all things to happen to his good in a way. I guess that is not knowing what the goodness is that really drives us to think this can't be of GOD. But it is.
Now it is 10 months since my beloved went home. And you think I would be over missing him as much as I do. But that is not the case. And you would think I would have more confidence than I do. But that is not the case. I think what I need to do is leave it at the foot of my Lord. And stop picking it back up. A big problem I am having.
A wise women wrote a letter saying that God was teaching her that she truely had to depend on HIM. Not on her husband. And after much reflection, that is truely one of my lessons in this journey. TO Trust in the Lord with all my heart. And lean not on my own understanding.
As many of us walk in this journey. Do we see God in it. Or are we ignoring him. And not hearing the spirit talk to us. Am I letting that sound of darkness control me, or I am letting the spirit talk to me. Guide me through it all.
As the storms come down around me and I see the houses and roads that are flooded around me, I thank God my house is not flooded and that I am able to go to work. That I have a job. That he supplies all my needs. We all have different storms. the question is how do we handle them, how do we stand firm. My life is not built on the sand. So for today I will try and walk with awareness to the Holy spirit. And allow GOd to bring a change in my heart.
