Today I am feeling good. My prayer for all of you who feel bad and sad is that you escape that sadness and change your mood to good.
"When ever life gives us lemons make some lemonade and enjoy it with a friend." a quote from my mother.

Little did she know I would be a widdow at age 39.

That my stepson would not continue to be apart of my life.

That my dad would be on nerve medicine and be confused 65% of the time I see him.

That would be in a job that has no future.

THat my life partner would be taken from me and I would be confused about everything.

Especially that I would have to do this without her, because she is at the foot of our Lord.
So today I write about how mom never met my husband. But I know she would have opened her heart and home to him. She would have seen his goodness and been so amazed he wasn't into the drug scene. She would have seen that he loved me with all his heart. She would have made him his favorite cookies, cresents. That I will probally never bake again. Because it will bring me to much pain. She would have made him his favorite apple pie for Thanksgiving. Because she never knew one pie was just fine after her meal. She had to make 10 pies, one for each of us.
My husband, loved my mom even know he never knew her. And I know this because he shared this with me. He wanted my son to know his grandmother. And made me tell stories of her. He listened like a little child, waiting for the next page. He saw that my mother still lived in me and part of me was developed all because of her guidence.
So let us all remember our children one day will reflect who we are. I pray that during this dark time in our lives that we will show strength and not weekness. And we also teach them that we are allowed to grieve. For Moses grieved, Job grieved, Jesus wept. God wants us to walk this journey.
