Another Week begins, I am trying to think back, to last march when Harry was full of this family time. And I just wasn't prepared for all the family time. I am so thankful GOD gave me this time. I think about to our beginning, how we both were unsure of the future. But knew we belonged together. I thank God for bringing us together. My son is going through the stage of wanting to be popular and date. I am left here thinking what do I tell him that will show GOd's will. I only know the girls perspective. SO I tell him. He has ton of question. He plays football on sunday, and I am the coach. Thank GOd for steph's father he stood up and is really the coach. Just what the boys needed. I am very thankful. And he was yelling at Matt just like he was his dad. IT was so sweet to watch. But I needed someone to do that. When we got in the car. Matt and I were talking about the team, the game, etc. When Matt turned to me and said you are not dad. I looked at him puzzeled, what? Where did that come from. As for me I am trying to teach Matt to treat people equal, no matter what their skill level is. He said, Dad would not disagree with him. He would agree the kid stinks. I had to laugh, he is right. My husband and him would talk about the skill level and here I was talking about how you treat that individual. SO I agreed, I wasn't dad. And we went on to another subject. I guess he just wanted a listener and not a lecture on how to be nice. SOme time this is so hard. I have a hard time keeping our private talks to myself. But after this weekend I realize this is something I must do. I use to have Harry here to bounce those talks off of. Now I must find a new outlet. I am praying God will be that outlet. This is a new week and I am going to try a new walk.
