I'm troubled this morning because I haven't been managing my finances as thorough as possible. The problem is my income, not my earned income, increased. I felt entitled to earn, and I let slack run the course and stopped doing things that made me aware of expense. What I sit with now is the possibility of being over charged, other's than myself having control over transactions, minor spenditures that are adding up, and lack of earned income.
I had a system where at the end of the day I incorporated all the transaction of the day on my own, I did it with kept receipts and detailing the events of the day on paper. I chose to give that duty to the bank, a calculated but unsecure risk, since I enter into a contract that gives them the right to manage the money, so I need to go back to my original plan. I can start tonight. I also used the excuse of being too tired to balance my personal budget at the end of the night. I also was choosing porn over life essentially at the end of the night, so that is another liability. Thank God I made a major discovery in that area, and it has taken the power of compulsion away amazingly.
Since I have opened myself up to others making transactions for me, I need to have a whole dollar balance at all times in the account, so I can account for everything. There was activity in my account that strangely disappeared and I cannot find inside the online banking system, so that is my proof that the bank possibly is after it's own interest, instead of mine, after all it is a free checking account, so it will add less anxiety, and more power to call out any suspicious activity if the balance is left whole. I thought the transaction log would document all activity, but activity has vanished, and it is wrong, but the banks play by their own rules, and instead of getting into an immature contest about money, I need to make my ammo more thorough if needed to be used on this fuck shit.
The minor spenditures are amounting to waste. They are minor but they add up. I think a capped budget would do me some good in this frame of insecurity. The main expense is food and clothes. I have probably spent more on food and clothes than anything else. I am very generous with the tip, and I am also very dutiful in searching for the deal, so those two liabilities can lead to insecurity for the future. Tipping is great, and getting something below market price is great too, but it is to honor greed, and that is wrong, if I had a family or was building to be charitable it would be a different story, but I am building for power, so it is ok that I don't increases my agenda for power and let a percentage drop or be less inclined to tip over 30 percent every time. With the "deals" I have all the clothes a single man could need, and also am not high maintenance in wardrobe, so that can be accommodated.
Lack of income has been because I have been blaming laziness on exhaustion. It really is a combination of both, but I have been missing out on opportunities to earn wealth, thinking I can afford it, and I am seeing now, with this latest hit and rash or expense, that I cannot afford to miss or forego opportunity to earn for at least the next two months.
The good news is I have no expenses for the month, even Christmas shopping is done. Actually I have a minor expense later in the month, but as far as food, clothes, and recreation, I have no actual need to purchase any. If I do purchase any of those it will be want more than need and shame on me if I suffer for or from it. I have a donation base with attitude of "the right thing to do" but it won't be occurring at all if I keep the rate I currently have, so I can decrease that by 50%, not exactly the perfect time to decrease my giving, but I didn't expect these recent expenses and I think it is spiritual to be aware of the save, so I can keep the door open to giving more for the future.
I can visit the bank, get the transaction record from the company who I think might have made a mistake or two, however I think it is all adding up, what I forget is I spent with assumption much in the last couple of weeks. I also spent with the assumption earned income would stablize, but it hasn't, it has decreased and might decrease even further.
I have been getting sloppy, and I think I got got to be honest. The situation was I was charged initially from a company, but since that charge incorporated a deposit, it left the transaction record of the checking account. Then I needed a change to the lease, and was charged initial deposit. I was hoping the transaction record would show all charged, even if deposit was to be returned. After the charges disappeared, and the lease ended, I got a huge credit to the account. Then the credit went away with no record of void, and the charge for the lease period was shown. My account record has no beginning balance before the charge with deposit was taken on the first date of business. That day I remember there being a record on the log, but days later it left, and that is where the confusion started. I don't know if I am legally entitled to view the complete log, and if I had to guess I am not, because it would incorporate the banks other interest I have no interest in acutely, but as a consumer I do have an interest in, so fuck Dodd-Frank.
The main question is how big of a deal is losing out on potentially 400 or 450? Considering my rate was low initially, entitlement benefit paid for a portion, the service was exceptional, the car was excellent, the American economy benefits from the transaction, and now I have good reason to be more professional and responsible with my total income, I don't think it wise to make a big deal out of this. The real payoff is now I have suspicion and good reason to not trust the bank, even though the dollar amount is more than likely accurate. I don't like the fact that the transaction record changed with no explanation. That tells me the bank has something to hide, or the bank isn't valuing me as a consumer, or the bank doesn't care if my record is accurate and my understanding is good, all it cares about is it's interest. Instead of cry over that spilled milk, I'll just be my own accountant, and only deal with wholes with the bank.
