Ok - back for a bigger update.
I went to the employment agency for a 2pm interview. While I was sitting there filling out paperwork my cellphone rang. It was a call from the company that I had all of the awful interviews and testing with that I thought I didn\'t get. I GOT it and I start at 8 am tomorrow. I told the testing proctor that I just got a job and to throw all of my paperwork away and high-tailed it out of there. YAY!
I\'m still feeling apprehensive for some reason - don\'t really know why but I\'ll be ok. Maybe it\'ll just take a few days to sink in after how upset I\'ve been lately. Also - it dawned on me that since I got this job, I won\'t be going back to Portland for a while..at least for several months while I\'m trying to save some $$ to live on when I go back. That makes me sad because I miss my kids so much. Not having them with me is almost unbearable at times. BUT - I am grateful to God for what I do have and for this opportunity to work. I will now work my scrawny butt off to get back home. THANK YOU GOD!
I just knew you would get the job... This is fantastic news... Im so happy for you... I know you miss your kids dear but just keep thinking when you save some money they will be with you again... hugs dear
