Been a busy week last week, getting boys ready for school, getty things ready for balloon release, and trying to get "last week of fun before school starts".  I finally saw a counsler fri., she was nice but young with no kids, but my only choice, I can't see the 1 Edward sees cause it's a conflick ...., the 1 David sees is kids only, so that leaves me with the 1 that cancelled so many times on me or this 1, I chose the young 1 with no kids, for now. She gave me a flyer for a support group in the next town, it's new and meets every 1 and 3 tue.-today, don't think i will go today but not sure. I have just never been a big ppl person and it's worse now.   We did a balloon release Sun. The only ppl that came were the in-laws(gotta give'em credit for that), and it was a pretty nice day, we cooked out, played horseshoes and everyone got along. We wrote messages in the baloons and let them go, at 1 point way up there it looked like they were in the shape of a heart and that's what i wrote on my balloon was "my heart".   I wanted to tell a story of Suzette, We moved here in 03 and she was pretty much a "city girl", hated bugs, camping, most wildlife unless it was cute, basicallya the outdoors. She was not a big game eater, only deer, and as i said in our yard we have the baby bunnies we raise. Anyway, we were invited to dinner at bro-in-laws couple years back and on her 3rd helping of meat she says"this is the best chicken i've ever had"-it was rabbit, she choked a little, looked around said"as far as i'm concerned it's chicken", we teased her so badly eating our "pet bunnies" that it was to the point of her wanting to see the chiken package before she would eat chicken, it was all in fun. We had fried "chicken" at the cookout sun., I think she would have got a laugh out of that.    Got to go now will try to catch up on everyone this week, in a weird place right now....... luv and hugs to allWill try to get pics and video of sun. up soon

I did the exact thing when I was a teenager. I asked my mom if we had a chicken leg because I wanted just a bit more food. She quickly gave me some of her meat off her plate. Later on I learned it was rabbit. From that day forward I always looked in the garbage can to see what the meat was wrapped in. Too funny. I\'m not a huge people person either that is why going to the retreat in San Diego is stepping outside my comfort zone. I think you should definitely try the support group. Atleast once. You\'ll never know if you don\'t try. You may meet amazing people or it may be a bust but please give it a go. Much love. Robin

I am not a big people person either. Never have been. I went to Compassionate Friends meeting a couple of times. It was a \"click\" and I was not a member. I felt like I had leprosy....

thats awesome about the heart thing...I think she was telling you that he loves you too. I\'m not a people person either, I use DS for my support but that is only because there is no group here for me to go too. I\'m not sure if I would or not. Have done alot of reading and DS has helped me beyond words. Love you all, BIG HUGS
