This is our Coatimundi, Streeker. We got her about 9 mo. ago, she was 3 1/2 then they live to 15. Her last owner couldn't keep her so she was me and Suzette's project, we shared the love of small critters. Never got a pic of Suzette with her as first time out with Suzette, Streeker caught a mouse and while in hunt mode she attacked Suzette's arm, nothing real serious but chewed up pretty good, and Suzette always had that fear of her after that and couldn't be around while out, had planned on having canine teeth removed, but......I just can't do her anymore, Suzette was still very involved as long as in cage and it brings too many memories. AS a wild animal Streeker is suffering from my lack of care these last few mo. so i made the decision to give her away to a friends brother who deals with other wild animals. HE was told if she got to be too much to let us know and we will take her back, and we can visit anytime. I will miss her but right now i miss Suzette too much to do it. Stephen is back and i have both boys under same roof as me again(YEA). I swear all he did the first 2 days is sleep, inbetween, swimming, cookout.....but he said he had fun and wants to go back next year, or to another collage that has similar preogram. David is adjusting to not being the only kid here again(fun), has been a little cranky and whiny, but all in all glad to have his brother back. Hubby left this am for job out of town, thinks it will be couple weeks but only 2 hrs away, will stay there but can come home every few days. First time he's gone out of town since.... scares me I don't know what i would have done that nite if he had been out of town(or state), but like everything else have to adjust and get thru. HUbby and i both have counsling app. on 30th, says he will make sure he's home for it, we'll see. thanks for all the patience and hope ya'll have a good day. luv and hugs

Wow...what an interesting \"pet\". I think you are wise to let someone else care for him now so that you can focus on yourself and your boys. So glad Stephen is back...and David will adjust...love and hugs...Karen
Happy to hear that Stephen is back
Good luck with the counsling

Happy the boys are back together. I\'m sure they are glad too but too cool to admit it. My hubby had just been back less than two weeks from being deployed when my son died. I\'m so grateful he was home and not in Africa and that he got to spend some time with A.J. before his accident. Although it doesn\'t diminish the pain, I do think small things happen to help on this journey just like our husbands being home. Hope the counseling goes well. Thinking of you. Love Robin
