Well today started good, then Stephen called telling me they are going to St. Lois for 3 days, arch, science center and six flags, probably leaving tomorrow! I knew they were doing this but for some reason i was thinking after home visit over 4th. I know this sounds silly but now i will be worrying, hubby keeps telling me i think to much, worry to much..... I keep telling him i was a careful, paranoid, worrywort before and now its 100 times worse. How do you train your brain not to worry when it has done it for as long as i remember, even as a child i was always the one telling not participating and i told out of real fear of someone getting hurt, as teenager hated riding with those kids that drove fast and stupid, don't know why but as soon as i know something my brain starts working overtime on all the things that could go wrong. I have never had the desire to take my kids to a large theme park for fear of..... and now Stephen will be there on his own, and will probably do fine. The lst time i let any kids go somewhere big without me, was about 5 years ago when we lived in co.(Suzette was about 13 and Stephen 9)Suzette's senior partner(like big sis program) took her and Stephen skiing, as it was Stephen's first time she was paying more attenrion to him that Suzette and i got a call Suzette was lost on the mountain some where and search parties have been sent out, but you stay home in case she calls. FROM WHERE-THE TREE PHONE. They found her before i got there, she had gotten turned around coming off a slope, thought she heard cyoties ran til she lost her glasses, lost the skis, peed her pants, and got so tired she layed down in the snow to fall asleep and that's where they found her, she was missing about 3 hours. I know he's older than she was then and he will have more chaperones(sp?) but i still worry. Am feeling very jumbled today now(if ya can't tell). May just have a pj's day and stay in bed. Like David will agree to that-lol. hope ya'll have a good day. luv and hugs

You are a mother! You can worry! AND, you have real reason to worry...so don\'t let anyone make you feel bad about that. I am sure Stephen will be fine...but I understand. Hey...you sent me a message...but nothing was there. Take care...and love to you...Karen
I think it\'s written somewhere that mother\'s worry. We are allowed. Stephen will probably say \"oh mom\" and roll his eyes. I know thats what mine do to me. Try to relax if you can. Take Care, Love and Hugs.
