Well, just as I'm starting to string a few good days in a row, one of my dogs escapes from out of the backyard. He dug his way out -- he's pretty small so he didn't have to do much. It's since been taken care of. Anyway, Milo got out and I had no idea which direction he went. I went to the front yard and, as I feared, there was no sign of him. While I was deciding which way to go, I saw two teenagers coming down the block. I shouted to them asking if they'd seen a small dog running free. They said no, but then looked down the block the other way, and said, "Here he is." Milo was running toward me at an incredible speed. I was so happy to see him that, when he flew right past me, all I could do was laugh. I finally coaxed him by giggling a bag of treats I'd brought outside with me. Hearing that, he came close enough for me to get him and carry him inside.
Happy ending, right? I don't know what I did to my foot, but it's been really bothering me since this episode two days ago; a throbbing pain. I'm using ice on it, but when you have foot pain, there's really no way to stay off it, and it hurts every time I walk. But I'm just complaining about that. I would accept a lot more pain to have successfully tracked down Milo. I like to think he came running back to me when he heard my voice calling to the two kids. I love my three dogs and don't even want to think about what could have happened if I didn't find him.

Aww naughty Milo escaping. :). I bet he liked his bit of freedom. Lol
I\'m so glad he\'s ok and came back to you. It\'s such a relief when we find our dog again. I\'ve had a couple of scares with mine and I panic over it and it is such a relief when I have her back home.
Oh no, sorry about the foot. You sound like me. I have pain in various places but one area can hurt and act up more than usual one day or for a few days and then eases up and then another joint is being more bothersome than usual. I can\'t have a totally pain free day when All joints are behaving. :)
Today it is my left knee. I was limping around today. And I have no clue what I\'ve done if anything to make it all flared up.
I don\'t know.
I hope your foot pain eases up soon.
Enjoy the day and your lovely Milo. :)
