Grr I’m pissed at my mom. She just makes me soooooooooo mad!!! Why is she like this. Why is everything about her. We were going to go out to eat at the place I work at cuz at first I didn’t think I had to work then I find I out I did and so we turned about and I told her I was basicly fired and she was kind of upset but not really and then she was like ah Kayla but I see your boss a lot and was really concerned about seeing him in the bank cuz he had to fire me and I guess it just makes her really embarrassed. Everything that goes on in this house is suppose to be kept out ourselves. My mom doesn’t want anyone knowing anything about us that is bad. She doesn’t want the town to be talking about us and I guess I understand but we can’t hide who we are. That’s the problem with this town. Everyone keeps everything to themselves and were not allowed to talk about anything bad or whatever. When the abuse came out she didn’t want me to talk to anyone but my neighbor girl and we were best friends then but still that was only one person I got to talk to and at first she wasn’t very excepting of it and so I felt I had no one while my mother had her sisters and my father. But I didn’t care I told other people and once she found out she was mad but I just told her to get over it. God she’s always been like that. Always’ being difficult with everything and it always has to be her way or she’ll be pissed. My father has almost no say in things, I had to pull teeth basiclly to get her to get me a counselor. She didn’t’ want me to have one because she wanted ME to work things out with my brother. She said I was fine and didn’t need one. Always asked why I needed one cuz I had her but I don’t want to talk to her. She was the only one that questioned if I was abused or not. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The job thing is your problem and not your mother\'s so she just needs to get over it. You\'re only 17. It\'s not like you got fired from a job that was going to make your career. Try not to let her get you down.
It sounds like your mother uses denial instead of facing difficulties. Perhaps she has done this all of her life. I\'m so glad that you have the good sense to seek counsel so that you can eventually get past the issues that keep you stuck. Your doing a great job. I\'m just a bit concerned that you overload your days with too busy of a schedule and that the importance of homework and time to just relax and do nothing gets pushed aside. Maybe your BF moving on is a blessing for you in that you can spend more alone time to reflect and continue to grow.
