guy's idk about this inpatient care thing anymroe. i thought i wanted to go and i thought i had made my decision but now idk. i can't just leave basketball and all that i've put into it, that's not fair to the team or my coach. i told my coach that about the inpatient thing so that she would know and not think that i just wasn't going to anything. but idk i'm just freaking out because i don't think that i'll be ready for varisty next year. i'm just scared that i'm not good enough. people tell me i am but i'm scared i'm not. i'm starting to go in at 6:30 every morning and work on basketball so i'll be ready. i'm not completly closing the idea of inpatient care yet but i just want to feel ready and i don't even know where i'm going and all of that stuff that i prolly should know. i keep putting it off. i wanted to figure it out so that i could go as soon as i could so i would't have to miss so much basketball ya know. ahhh idk......what do i do????

Kayrl, Your fairness must come for yourself first. Don\'t let fear dictate your decisions. Basketball is just a game, the condition of your well being is not! Follow through on you in-patient decision so that you may resolve issues and gain peace within yourself. You deserve to be happy. You have the opportunity for in-patient care now, and it\'s perfect timing to do while your young so that you may have some peace during these difficult years of growth. Sorry if I\'m nagging. It\'s just that it\'s so important for your happiness and progression. It matters. You matter! Remember, giving in to fear accomplishes nothing. Besides, once you get through with in-patient, you may be so empowered that you play basketball better than ever! You can do this.

I totally agree with FUL!!! I couldn\'t have said it better myself!!! You will regret it one day when your damage is ruling your life, and you dont even want to turn the tv on to watch basketball, let alone play it. BELIEVE me, the damage gets worse as you get older, and takes your ability to enjoy life. PLEASE take this oppurtunity and run with it. Your fear will be gone the minute you move into the place. You will be number one. You will meet friends, and be happy you did this. And when you leave there, you will be a much better fuller person than you can even imagine at this point in your life. YOU DESERVE THIS! It is a gift! I can only wish I had had the chance to do what you\'re doing at such a young age. Take it from all of us older, suffering people. GO FOR IT!
