o i hate yelling soo much. my dad and i cleaned our dinning room and we just kind of put the clothes in the basket and didn't fold them, so them my dad was gonna take my car up to put gass in and make sure things were running good and that stuff and my mom freaked out and told me to fold the laundry and to get me to help and so my dad got pissed and started yelling at me and luke to help fold and stuff. ahhh but he left to put gass in my car and we folded the clothes and my brother cleaned the living room. i just don't like people yelling puts me in a bad mood.

Yelling sucks!!! It puts everyone in a bad mood. My mom yelled my whole life. Then I grew up to be a screamer, but I have conciously tried to change. I dont really yell at all anymore! And it has helped my children to better communicate as well. You could politely say \"Mom, or Dad, can we try to communicate without yelling?, it works better, and saves the moods!\" Believe me, they will think about it, even if not right away!
No kidding. Parents are people but need to realize that what they say and how they react to things shapes us for the future.
Don\'t be in a bad mood, it\'s not your fault. I understand though. That\'s easy to say that. Have you ever chatted to your parents about yelling? I know I did with my real Dad for the first time last month. He admitted that he was stressed out and said sorry, that meant a lot to me. If you can\'t talk about it with them, maybe you will be able to one day. I just said to my dad that it upset me when he raised his voice, can we please talk in a calm manner about the problem/situation. He agreed. Anyways.. Have a good night.

karly, what do you need help with by going to inpatient clinic? you couldnt get another family member to go..does it have to be your mom or dad..?
also sounds like mom and dad need to do some growing up...they are in denial that you want and need help...are it could be the debts that are incurred from such...in any case...the yelling must stop...tone goes a long way when people take time to be pattient with one enoughther..
