well since the day was good the night had to be bad lol. ah i hate that.

my aunt and i have been e-mailing back and forth for a couple of weeks and so she writes back and it's pretty normal and stuff but then towards the end she say's that my mom is very sad and i should give her the love and respect because she needs it. bull i need it too but i'm not getting it. idk i guess i just don't have much simpathy for her when her sister wants to help her and talk but she wont. she has the power to get a counselor but doesn't. if i were able to i would have already gotten a counselor but i just havent figured out how to. so i wrote my aunt back and told her that i wasn't going to give that to my mother because she hasn't really been there for me. that i've asked her 3 times to get me a counselor, the first time she told me to work it out with him and i also asked for family counseling and she told me no because he would freez up and not talk and that he had alot going on wiht his g/f and going to war, the second time she rolled her eye and said fine like it was a huge burden to get me on. and the third time was this time when i had to write the letters and stuff. and i also told my aunt that i had to much going on right now with school, sports, luke, and making sure that i was alive that i couldn't do that for my mother. and maybe some of you would think that i'm being hard on my mom and that i'm a bitch, that's ok, you don't live with her.

idk i guess the topic of my mother is very hard and pushes the right buttons on me.

If you look in the front pages of the phone book, there are listings of government agencies. If you make some calls you can be directed to the correct agency to get free counseling. Or call a free clinic to see if they can help or direct you, or call the Teen Line for the number or name of a place or places. You can get it done on your own. You don\'t have to be at the mercy of someone else (your mother). About your mother, you get back what you give. You can stop the vicious cycle between the two of you by trying love. She doesn\'t understand what your going through, but if you consider her, you don\'t know what is in her mind either. She could be just as troubled by things. Communication helps.

I know it upsets you that your mom isn\'t being supportive. I don\'t think you owe her a thing right now....you need to focus on you, and there\'s nothing wrong with that!

I thought your mom got you a counselor, but you dont like her? Thats why I told u you can change therapists on your own. Listen to what Ful said above. And I think your mother is an ass personally!!! She should have gotten you help and supported you from the first day you opened up to her. That is one thing my mom did.She wrote my brother an 11 page letter the minute I told her what happened. Your mom should have wrote to your brother since hes at war, and done whatever necessary to make you feel belived, loved, and taken care of!!!!! There\'s NO EXCUSE not to. You have been the strongest, bravest little girl I have ever known. You do a great job looking out for YOU, and I hope you continue to!!! I bet if you had a daughter, and she told you she was abused, youd handle it MUCH DIFFERENTLY!!!! Because you are a GOOD PERSON! Dont ever doubt yourself. I am ALWAYS here if you need me!! I\'ve been there. Love Nichole
