ok so living in a house with two older brother who were nothing but perfect has made me feel that i need to be prefect. my brother did drugs and drank and were brought home by the cops almost every night and it made my family tare apart. they screamed and argued almose everynight and i would cry myself alseep beecause i just wanted it all to go away and for the yelling to stop. I barly got to hang out with my parents because they were alway's in the court office or they were to tired and so i we never did anything very offten. i sometimes didn't have a birthday party because my parents were alway's dealing with my brothers or they were too tired to have one. it made me mad alot. My parents always told me that i was their only hope that i was what keept my mom from going crazying and killing herself. i guess that put alot of pressure on me to never be like my brother and to be good all the time and never do anything wrong. they loved that i was in sport and don't get my wrong i loved it to. i guess i had alot on me to be good and not mess up and now i feel horrible if i do even if i do something like stay out a lil past when i was suppose to be home it makes me feel horrible so i guess i just feel like i missed out on being a kid on breaking rules and messing up. i never really did. my parents alwya's told me that they got two bad kids and one good one. that i was there reward for having to deal with my brothers.

Wow...you do have lots of pressure on you to be good. I am the \"good kid\" in my family too. My brother is a drug addict and alcholic and has been in too much trouble to mention. Keep your head up....you\'ll get through this. Just keep in mind, you really don\'t have to be perfect. I\'m here if you need me!

WOW. This journal makes me feel guilty! My 3 boys were bad in school. Hated school and got bad grades. MY 13 yr old is doing AWESOME and I say things like your mom said to you! I\'m glad I read this, cuz I didnt realize the pressure I may be puttin Ali under! I\'ll have to re-think how I speak to her! Thanks for opening my eyes!! And hang in there. You are entitled to mistakes as well as your brothers were. Tell your parents the pressure they are making you feel. They may not know. I thought I was more complimenting her saying these things, and they may have to. Love Nichole
