Thanks for reaching out and for the words of encouragement on my AA update on Saturday. See it\'s been a bit of a struggle, but trust me, it will get better. I\'m only on day 65, but seems like a years since I last drank and rarely think of it now. Friday and Saturday nights can be a little tough, but finding new activities to take the place of drinking. Think that\'s key, finding new things to do, finding a new life. Like you, I was doing on it my own willpower, but afraid I\'d slide unless I had some additional support. This site helps, but would also suggest you check out AA. The people there were real cool and didn\'t make me feel like some freak for coming in. Actually, they made me feel very welcomed.
