If my grandfather were alive today, he would've been 117 years old.  He was a great guy.  He died short of his 91st birthday 25 years ago.  My other grandfather would be 115 on July 4th.  They both died within 2 weeks of each other.  My mother was in the hospital at that time and we almost lost her too.  1983 was not a good year for my family.  Unfortunately, my mother lost her battle in 1984 from heart disease and strokes at the age of 57.  I also had a miscarriage that year and lost a boy.  I don't know why I'm writing all of this.  I guess I just have to talk about it sometime.

Sometimes these things just need to come out. We had a horrible year like that too where we just kept losing people, nine deaths in the family in about six weeks time ranging from a four month old boy to a great grandma. Some times these situations leave us a bit in shock and we deal with them in bits and peices over the years to come and if there are such things in your life this is a great place to let them out with many supportive people who are ready to listen and understand.
