Friday

Hello SOTHs - I have had a really rough week - last Saturday I was sick with vomiting & coughing, lasting until Sunday eve - the cough continued with fever - DAMN - I have bronchitis, inhaler, RX and whatever else I can get my hands on to feel better. LOL.
I returned to work yesterday after 3 days on antibiotics - coughing subsiding but still feel BLAH.
One thing I find out when I'm sick, is how much I miss my mom and daughter......hubby just isn't the same. It seems like the loss always finds its way to rear its ugly head when you least expect it or want it to. I'm dealing with feeling lousy and I just don't want to feel the loss on top of it but it is what it is....

I know exactly what you are saying. Something about our kids and moms that do the trick for things that ail us. Hoping you feel better soon. Much love. Robin

So sorry that you have been ill and I know that for me when I\'m ill my vulnerability is out there front row and center. My body is using all its energy to heal so my mind often takes me to places that I don\'t want to go to.

Hoping that you can pamper yourself this weekend and understanding the missing of our loved ones and how acutely it is felt when we\'re sick. Deepest of sighs...

Gentle care and much love dearest Vicki,

Grieving is hard enough without being sick.
Hope you feel better real soon.

I hope that you feel so much better soon! I know that adversity does make us miss our children more (if that is possible) than we do each and every day. We are facing a blizzard and I found myself today wishing that my Michael was here to help me and then felt very selfish about that. Peace XOXO Belinda

So sorry that you\'re sick! And really feeling the absence of your Mom & Jennifer. That really compounds your bronchitis, I know.Take whatever meds you need & FEEL BETTER SOON.

Being sick sucks I understand my Grandma used to bring me tapioca pudding when I was sick. It was her cure all for everything. If I had the flu or was in the hospital Grandma and her tapioca was not far behind. When Alyssa was little she would always be by my side, putting a wet dripping wash cloth on my head if I had a migraine . Yes missing those care takers when we are ill.
Sending healing hugs

I so agree, it helps to heal when someone else takes the caregiver role. I need one now fighting a cold in this snowstorm. Feel better soon. Hugs, Kathy

I hope you are feeling better. I hear you - it is tough enough but when we are ill, the pain is so much more acute.
Tight hugs, M

Being sick makes everything worse, doesn\'t it. I live alone and have nobody to care for me when I am sick. I feel much more alone, when I am sick...
